K9S -
The Noses Know

Be a volunteer hider!!!
(We need you, we really really do...)

Want to help out but don't want to commit to weekly training? Looking for a great way to get a feel for what working with K9s is like?  You can volunteer to hide for us, and be part of the training for the day.  Our dogs get pretty tired of finding us, and we always need fresh subjects to hide for us.  This blog post tells you how to prepare and what to expect.  Then just email wolf@wvmarg.org and we'll talk about how and when you'll join us.

So you think you'd like to be a dog handler?

We've got a blog article to help you understand what the commitment is and how long it will take.  This is a good first step.

K9 handler blogs, general topics

Our blog pages about more general stuff, like what (human) errors are common, what the public expects vs. the reality, and way more.

K9 handler blogs, more technical topics

These blogs are more technical, and discuss scent cones, wind conditions, and more nitty gritty concepts.
