The Mountaineer Area Rescue Group meets on the third Monday of every month.
Meetings are currently done via Google Meets. Once we resume in person meetings, we'll post the location here.
NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, MARG has moved all business meetings to an online-only meeting format. MARG will be evaluating in-person events on a case-by-case basis over the course of the pandemic; prospective new members and guests who wish to attend any of our events should contact us in advance at email@example.com to make sure the meeting or event will still be held and to get the meeting link and/or dial-in phone number.
The general meeting begins at 6:30PM. The business portion of the meeting is about 30 minutes followed by an hour or so of training.
MARG field training held on the weekend following the General Membership meeting. Training sessions normally occur on both Saturday and Sunday of the training weekend, with different topics varying from basic to advanced scheduled on each day - members can attend either or both days or portions of a day, depending on their availability and training needs.
MARG also holds special interest training sessions for topics like canine search, technical rescue, mantracking, and others. All our training sessions are scheduled via an application called Spond.
